Independent Examination

Charity law requires trustees of the charity to prepare accounts and trustees annual report. The report and accounts provide information to donors and others interested in the work of the charity what the charity is set up to do, what it has done in the year and how it raised and spent the money.

The independent examiner carries out checks and provides an independent scrutiny of the accounts. This report plays a part in maintaining public trust and confidence in charities.
